With over 20 years of experience as a snowboard coach and instructor, I have dedicated my career to helping riders improve their skills and enjoy the mountains safely. Having completed multiple winter seasons in both hemispheres, I bring extensive experience in coaching, freeriding, and guiding across a wide range of terrain and snow conditions. Based in Niseko, I offer personalized coaching and guiding throughout the Niseko area and surrounding mountains, helping riders progress while discovering the best snow Hokkaido has to offer.

Does Jaume has a vehicle?

Yes. Each coach drives their own vehicle and provides door-to-door service for the duration of your booking.

How many people can join a lesson or guided tour?

All lessons and guided tours are private. Group size typically ranges from 4 to 6 people, depending on the activity and terrain. Skiers and snowboarders can be mixed for guided tours. Final group size is determined by the guide, with safety as the priority.

What’s included in the lesson price?

The price covers your guide’s time and instruction with private vehicle. Typically, a half-day is 3hrs and a Full Day is 6hrs +1 hr for lunch. Lift passes and rental equipment are not included and should be arranged separately.

How do I make a booking on Nisekoach?

Once you’ve chosen your coach, message them to share your plan and expectations. Confirm availability and pricing, and once agreed, your coach will help you secure your booking.

How much does it cost and how do I pay?

Rates depend on the coach and your specific plan. Profiles show starting rates for a single, half-day or full-day lesson. Payment is arranged directly with your coach after confirming availability. Nisekoach does not handle payments.

Do I need avalanche safety gear for gate or backcountry guiding?

Yes. Avalanche safety equipment is mandatory. This must includes a transceiver, probe, and shovel.
Your guide will advise on any additional gear based on your objectives and terrain. Some coaches offer safety gear rental as well as several shops in Niseko.
